AILET 2027 Coaching Online: Exam Pattern, Dates & Course

The short answer

AILET 2027 is on Sunday, 13 December 2026, 2:00–4:00 p.m. — a pen-and-paper test of 150 questions in 120 minutes for NLU Delhi’s BA LLB. Applications close on 10 November 2026. Lawgic’s online AILET course follows the same structure as our CLAT programme, at Rs 20,000 flat.

What the AILET paper rewards

Logical Reasoning is nearly half the paper. 70 of the 150 questions. NLU Delhi notes that legal principles may be used inside the logical reasoning section, so legal-reasoning practice still pays off.
There is no separate Legal Reasoning section. Unlike CLAT, AILET folds it into Logical Reasoning — plan your practice around that split, not CLAT’s.
It is pen and paper. Practise on printed papers and OMR sheets, not only on screen.
It comes one week after CLAT. CLAT 2027 is on 6 December 2026 and AILET on 13 December, so most students prepare for both together — which is how our course is built.

When is AILET 2027?

What is the AILET 2027 exam pattern?

150 multiple-choice questions for 150 marks in 120 minutes: English Language 50, Current Affairs and General Knowledge 30, and Logical Reasoning 70, with 0.25 deducted for each wrong answer. It is a pen-and-paper OMR test.

Is there an age limit for AILET?

No. NLU Delhi states there is no maximum or minimum age limit. You need 45% in Class 12 (42% for OBC, 40% for SC/ST).

Can I prepare for AILET and CLAT together?

Yes, and most students do: the two papers overlap in English, current affairs and reasoning, and AILET is a week after CLAT. The main difference is AILET’s heavy Logical Reasoning section.
