CLAT coaching for Jaipur students, one price, no packages
Lawgic runs a single live online CLAT programme for Rs 20,000 flat — the whole course, not a starter tier. There is no Jaipur branch to visit and no local surcharge to pay, because the class is the same live session wherever you sit.
Lawgic is an online institute based in Mohali. We do not operate a classroom in Jaipur, and nothing on this page should be read as claiming one.
The NLU picture from Jaipur
Rajasthan has exactly one NLU, and it is not in Jaipur
This is the single most important fact for a Jaipur aspirant to internalise. Of the twenty-four National Law Universities that admit through CLAT, Rajasthan has one: National Law University Jodhpur, roughly 340 km and about six hours away by road. There is no NLU in Jaipur. Jaipur National University is a private university and is not an NLU, which is a distinction that costs students real money every year.
Rajasthan’s only NLU. Around six hours by road from Jaipur.
Despite the name overlap with private universities in the city.
Which is why your preference list matters more than your state.
Based on the Consortium of NLUs list of twenty-four participating universities for CLAT 2026. Always confirm the current year’s list and counselling data on the Consortium’s official website before you finalise a preference order.
What this means for your preparation
Where a Jaipur student actually stands
Because there is no home-state campus to fall back on, a Jaipur student is effectively competing on the national list from day one. That sounds harder. In practice it simplifies the decision: you are going to leave Jaipur for law school either way, so you may as well prepare to reach a campus worth leaving for. Read our full guide to NLU Jodhpur for the cutoffs, fees and placement record before you build your preference order.
The paper itself
What CLAT actually asks you to do
CLAT UG is 120 multiple-choice questions in two hours, marked +1 for a correct answer and −0.25 for a wrong one, with no penalty for leaving a question blank. Almost every question hangs off a passage, so the exam is closer to a reading test with five different subjects attached than to five separate subject papers.
Comprehension passages of around 450 words, followed by inference, tone and vocabulary questions. Nothing is asked outside the passage.
Also passage-based, drawn from news of the preceding year. The heaviest section for most students, and the one that rewards steady weekly work.
Principle-and-fact problems. No prior legal knowledge is needed or rewarded — you apply the principle you are given, even when it contradicts common sense.
Argument structure, assumptions, flaws and analogies, again built on short passages rather than standalone puzzles.
Data interpretation from graphs and tables using class-10 level arithmetic. The smallest section, and the one most often abandoned too early.
Pattern and weightages per the Consortium of NLUs for CLAT 2026. Confirm the current year’s official notification before you plan around it.
Boards and the calendar
Fitting CLAT around the Rajasthan Board (RBSE)
RBSE Class 12 exams sit squarely in the February to March window, which is exactly when CLAT revision needs to peak. Jaipur students on RBSE should plan to be revision-ready before boards start rather than hoping to catch up afterwards. CBSE students in the city face the same overlap.
Our classes are live, but every session is recorded and available afterwards, which is the part that matters most during board season. A missed class during exams is a class you watch later, not a class you lose.
One programme, one price
Rs 20,000 flat, everything included
We publish one price because tiered packages exist to make the real number hard to find. There is no premium tier holding back the good faculty and no separate charge for the test series. What a Jaipur student pays is what a Mohali student pays.
- Live interactive classes
- Full recordings, rewatch anytime
- Complete study material
- Full-length and sectional mocks
- Weekly current affairs
- One-to-one mentorship
Questions from Jaipur
Frequently asked
Is there a National Law University in Jaipur?
No. Rajasthan’s only National Law University is NLU Jodhpur, about 340 km from Jaipur. Private universities in Jaipur with similar-sounding names are not NLUs and do not admit through the CLAT counselling process.
Does Lawgic have a coaching centre in Jaipur?
No. Lawgic is an online institute and teaches from Mohali. Classes are live and interactive, with recordings available afterwards.
What rank do I need for NLU Jodhpur from Jaipur?
CLAT is a single national merit list, so your city does not change the cutoff. Recent General category closing ranks for the BA LLB (Hons.) at NLU Jodhpur have been around AIR 310 to 344. Our NLU Jodhpur guide has the year-by-year figures and a rank checker.
When should a Jaipur student start preparing for CLAT?
Twelve to eighteen months of consistent preparation is the realistic window. Because Rajasthan has only one NLU, a Jaipur student has less margin than a student in a two-NLU state, which is an argument for starting in class 11 rather than class 12.
Sit in on a class before you decide
The demo is a real session, not a sales call. Attend one from Jaipur, see whether the teaching suits you, and decide afterwards.
